Landschaftshonig Österreich — Landschaft ohne Grenzen
Wir von Landschaftshonig Österreich freuen uns über die erste europäische Honigpartnerschaft! Anlässlich des internationalen Kongresses von ESPEN (European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism) repräsentieren drei Honige aus Österreich, Slowenien und Kroation die drei Gastgeberländer, die im September 2022 gemeinsam zum weltweit größten Kongress seiner Art nach Wien eingeladen haben.

ESPEN — Drei neue Honige
Der Laubwald und die Wiesen des Biosphärenparkes Wienerwald treffen auf die Vegetation der Küste von Novi Vinodolski in Kroatien und den Nadelwald Kozjansko in Slowenien. Honig ist eine Geschichte der Honigbiene von Landschaft, von Pflanzen, die dort wachsen, dem Klima, Wetter, dem Boden, dem menschlichen Einfluss.
Broadleaf Honey from Austria
The Biosphärenpark Wienerwald touches Vienna on the city‘s west side. Its mixture of forests and meadows is unique with a great diversity of plants and animals. My bees forage in the area called Christkindlwald. In autumn I appreciate their coming home powdered with the white pollen of balsam, at a time when in other regions hibernation has already started.
Forest Honey from Slovenia
Kozjansko is an unspoilt region in the south-eastern part of Slovenia, with many forests and meadows as well as vineyards on the southern slopes of the hills. Forest honey from this region is special, high-quality and combines the best that bees gather in the forest. It has a unique taste that people fall in love with.
Seaside Honey from Croatia
This delightful honey comes from Novi Vinodolski in the heart of the untouched nature of the northern Adriatic region. It has a pleasant, slightly bitter, but sweet taste and is strongly scented – a perfect addition to any kitchen. Do you want to hear a secret? It is made from just one amazing ingredient: The sage that grows abundantly on the rocky ground exposed to the bora wind and strong sun.
